Well, as inevitably as this will be deleted by friday, I'll post the next chapter in response to reader responses.
Note, read the first book: Reco: The Tale of a Warpstar Knight if you haven't already, it'll patch up any loose ends you may have.
Onward...

Chapter Four
Falling Darkness
Link woke up. He immediately recognized the rushing waters of Zora's Domain. He tried getting up, but pain surged through his body, and he went back down flat. He couldn't see well as three figures appeared. He fell back to sleep in pain.
Princess Zelda let out a sigh. She looked at the Hero of Twilight as he lay there, badly injured to the point of not being able to simply move.
"I wish I could help," Prince Ralis said, "but I have no idea what kind of wounds these are."
"They're bullet wounds." The hooded man said, standing at the edge of the falls, gazing into the water below.
"How do you know that?" Princess Zelda asked. She didn't know exactly what a "bullet wound" was.
"For one, I research a lot," the man started, "second, he was attacked by a modern army…with guns. But, I can tell you he was also tortured, most likely with a nine tails, maybe with fire. You should be lucky though, if he wasn't chosen by the gods, and given their strength, your friend right there would've been dead when I found him."
Zelda winced at the thought of Link being dead, but felt lucky he was rescued alive.
"I can't thank you enough…" Zelda started, trying to get his name. "By the way, what is your name?"
The man turned, still hooded by his black cloak so Zelda could only see his mouth and some of his nose. He was equipped with a sword, and other potential weapons that were stashed in pockets that he had strapped on. He wore a belt with a silver buckle, a grey shirt, and black pants with matching boots, which had a small knife sticking out of each boot.
"You can call me Mason, and it a pleasure to be of service." The man gave a slight bow. He then turned back to the water fall. He looked down, noticing something, and gave a quite grunt.
"Is…something wrong?" Zelda asked, hearing Mason.
"Something seems…wrong. It feels like darkness. Don't be alarmed yet; just be on your toes." Mason replied
Zelda took it into account, but was more curious how a man had such a strange sense of danger. Her thoughts were interrupted by Link's groans. His eyes were open, and he was sitting up, barely. He obviously was in a lot of pain. Mason walked up to Link and pulled out a bottle full of Fairy's Tears from his cloaked.
"Here, drink this." Mason instructed. "This will help rid of all that pain you're going through…for now."
Mason gave the bottle to Link, who could barely lift up his hand. He grabbed the bottle, and drank it. Within seconds, Link was standing with almost full strength. Prince Ralis and Zelda were filled with joy to see the Hero standing again. Mason simply grinned. Link looked for any equipment he possibly still had on him. After searching his tunic, he was completely empty. He gave out sigh, realizing that all of his equipment was probably at Hyrule Town.
Just then, a Zora came swimming up the waterfall, soon followed by a Goron rolling up the side paths. When they approached Prince Ralis and Princess Zelda, they showed faces of fear.
"Ralston! Coalot!" Ralis exclaimed, "What's wrong!?"
"It's back! It's back!" Ralston shouted.
"What is!? Calm down! What is it!?" Ralston said.
"The Twilight! It's back, and coming towards us!" Coalot exclaimed.
"What!? How!?" Princess Zelda winced. Mason placed his hand on his forehead.
"They're right, I can feel it…" Mason said. "Look."
Mason pointed to the sky and everybody's' eyes followed. A curtain of twilight shrouded the sky. Soon, the sky around them started to darken to a gold hue. Around her, Zelda saw people slowly disappear into floating spirits. She turned around to see Link on his hands and knees, turning into a wolf once again.
